Congratulations to “Ms. Jillian Bante”, who is a “2008” Latreese Nicole Fagan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc., Scholarship Winner.

Jillian graduated from a fine High School in May 2008 with a 3.5 G.P.A. She has an extensive and impressive list of “volunteer activities”.

In the Fall of 2008, she will attend an impressive university. She plans to pursue a Bachelors Degree with a “Major” in Political Science.

In November 2005, she lost her eyesight. Lupus attacked her eyes. She is adapting to life as a blind person.

One of the most “impressive qualities” about Jillian is her “determination to succeed.” She faces challenges head on, and she is a very remarkable young woman.

Jillian is an independent person and a motivated learner. She is hungry to make a difference in the world.”

The Board of Directors at the Latreese Nicole Fagan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. has awarded “Ms. Jillian Bante” a scholarship due to her fine academic record, her motivation and perseverance to excel despite the odds, and her great desire to make this a better world.
